This person contributes to Coinstar's success by: • Providing transportation and coin/bin handling services for an assigned group of Coinstar machines
• Responding to customer needs as directed by the Transportation Supervisor or Help Desk/Answering Service
• Servicing and maintaining products built and placed by Coinstar
Summary of key responsibilities: • Provide routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs, using the simple tools provided in the Service Representative toolkit
• Work with a minimum of direct supervision as requested by the Help Desk, Regional Manager, and Field Technician
• Provide equipment service at customer locations as required, including preventative maintenance and basic testing
• Properly maintain assigned PC/desktop computer, pager, and company vehicle (if provided)
• Complete timesheets and limited paperwork as required by the position function or as requested
• Display maturity and judgment in time management and expense control
• Report quality problems and other technical problems
• Interface effectively with other departments, supervisors/managers, and Field Technicians to resolve customer problems and situations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager and Field Technicians
• Provide coin & cash handling and transportation responsibilities; a commercial drivers license (CDL)/commercial vehicle medical certification may be required in certain markets
• Promote and maintain good customer relations through high standards of personal appearance, ethical behavior, maturity and good judgment
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift 85 lbs
• The employee must frequently (up to 30-40 times per day) pull and push coin bins weighing up to 600lbs using a specially designed hand truck, in markets where coin handling is required
Preferable Qualifications & Experience: • High School Degree or GED
• 1-3 years of customer service/customer relations
• Experience with electro-mechanical equipment preferred
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have excellent personal and interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of customers
• Accountable for providing superior quality service and professionalism at all times
• Accountable for Company property and parts
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
• Working knowledge of Lotus Notes
