Requirements and Competencies
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel with professional presentation and strong customer service skills.
Ability to type 40 wpm and experience in sales and customer service preferred.
Must have strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
Good mathematical and money handling skills.
Multi-tasking abilities and general computer skills.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Position requires flexible availability and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Candidates must have proven job stability through strong work history.
Command of the English language is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period of time and have the ability to perform repetitive hand actions.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for booking spa appointments, packages and some recreational activities. Assist management with multiple assignments within the Spa reservations department. Handling high volume incoming phone calls, daily sales transactions, daily accounting records, and customer service. Knowledge of services, procedures, treatment specialists and resort activities. Work shifts as needed in the Spa gift shop.
Assist management with maintenance of bookings on a daily basis, including contacting guests to book appointments, faxing confirmations and preparing spreadsheets in MS Excel.
Greet customers, manage appointment schedules, set appointments, provide customers service including answering spa related questions.
Perform administrative tasks including all sales transactions, reports and daily accounting records.
Interface with treatment specialists to ensure timely appointments in relaxed manner.
Promote, upsell, and assist in the marketing of salon retail products.
Upkeep of Spa shop to include displays and shop recovery, making the shop pleasant to the eye.
Restocking merchandise and keeping Spa management abreast of items needing to be reordered.
